Susan Bourke : The role of the Godparents is so important and makes total sense that their faith is used to speak for them. In today's society baptism can be just another social gathering and the true meaning of the event is missed out. The touching of unclean things makes marks clean things and the image of Jesus' healing handing being placed upon the sick is for me an amazing image and I pray he places his hands on me and all who are following this bible in a year. Amen x
